Mount Royal University PR students available for summer 2011 work placements!

Do you have too much work and not enough resources? Are you working on a big project this summer and need assistance? Mount Royal University can help.

May to August 2011, we have over 50 eager and capable students seeking a four-month work term. This is an employer-paid work experience forming part of Mount Royal University’s Bachelor of Communication Studies (Public Relations) degree program. These students are skilled and ready to hit-the-ground-running for your company.

The work experience opportunity allows students to apply and enhance the knowledge and skills acquired through classroom learning to an industry setting. When students go on their first work experience they have completed six academic semesters and have hands-on experience in research methods, applied and technical writing, computer mediated communication, event management, media relations and much more.

If you could use an extra set of qualified hands this summer, please consider one of our talented public relations students. For more information or to post a term position, please contact Ashley Archer, Work Experience Coordinator at 403.440.6231 (aarcher@mtroyal.ca) or Jane McNichol, Chair, Public Relations at 403.440.5697 (jmcnichol@mtroyal.ca). Further information is also available through the career services website at http://www.mtroyal.ca/careerservices.
