Ethics Awareness Month

In CPRS, Uncategorized on August 30, 2011 at 6:33 pm

This September is Ethics Awareness Month at the Public Relations Society of America. To a select few, PR and ethics are like oil and water, ketchup and milk. To many others – like the PR practitioners who frequent this blog and members of CPRS and PRSA – ethics are an integral part of the PR work they do on a day-to-day basis. On that note and in that vein, I invite you to take this little quiz (the Insert/Edit Link function is not working, so you will need to copy and paste into your browser):

Hopefully your results will prompt some discussion in this space. Good luck.

Jeremy Berry, APR
CPRS Calgary Secretary

  1. It was enlightening to take this quiz but I suggest if you do it, keep your own score on the number of questions of the ten you get right. If you want to know your “ethical quotient” at the end, ahem. The quiz master requires you to either login as a ProProf member or give some significant permissions to “use”: your twitter or facebook. I clicked off with “don’t allow” and don’t know my actual score. I won’t be a spoiler and start discussing the questions and answers, but suffice it to say that some of the questions were ambiguous.

  2. Yes, good point, Judi. Keep your own score; thankfully it is only out of 10.
